Nexthink and AASTMT to establish analytics centre of excellence in Egypt

(Image source: zawya) The Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT) has partnered with end-user experience management specialist Nexthink, to establish an centre of excellence at AASTMT Cairo Campus in Egypt

Nexthink will establish the analytics centre for excellence in Egypt in collaboration with AASTMT’s Academy Company for ICT (ACICT).

The facility centre is going to be built with an aim to foster innovation, research, and cooperation among the Arab regions.

Ahmed Daher, CEO of ACICT, said, “The center of excellence is the first in the Arab region that will play a vital role in boosting research, expanding skills and knowledge and fostering innovation in the field of technology.”

“As a trusted education and training academy, ACICT/ASSTMT together with Nexthink will offer members the expertise, resources and training to better equip themselves,” he added.

The centre is expected to serve students, developers, IT managers and customers by providing them access to a number of resources to develop their skills and knowledge in advanced IT analytics.

“Nexthink’s end-user experience management solution brings new visibility and insight to IT departments, providing meaningful data to significantly improve their IT performance and security, while significantly reducing IT costs,” said Maged Eid, regional director of Nexthink for Middle East and Africa (MEA).

Eid further added, “We are confident that this strategic collaboration with ACICT and AASTMT will enable companies and students to keep pace with the technology trends and address the complex challenges it brings with it.”

Apart from this strategic partnership, Nexthink said that it has also selected ACICT as a gold channel partner in Egypt, to expand Nexthink’s geographical footprint, increase customer base and help organisations with its IT infrastructure solution.

Nexthink hoped that this move will allow it to have a direct access to Egypt’s growing IT market worth US$10.4bn.
