Empower has announced that international firm in Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC), Bureau Veritas, has provided Integrated Mangement Systems with re-certification
Empower was audited for three management systems ISO 9001:2008, OHSAS 1800 1:2007 and Environmental Management Systems ISO 14001:2004, the company said.
“Empower works in accordance with the directives of H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to achieve the highest standards of excellence and innovation in all fields of our operations,” said H.E Ahmad Bin Shafar, chief executive officer of Empower.
“This recertification reflects Empower's intensive efforts to improve the quality of service and further enhance performance of occupational health, safety and environment systems. This new achievement will be added to Empower's track record of corporate excellence and international recognition of its high performance levels. Empower adheres to the highest of international standards and strives to provide world-class service to our customers to ensure their comfort and happiness,” added Bin Shafar.
Empower has boosted the use of District Cooling instead of traditional air-conditioning in different parts of Dubai which has reduced the volume of energy consumption in the emirate and preserving natural resources, and reducing operational and maintenance costs in residential and commercial units.
