Byrne Rental completes ISO 45001 2018

Industrial

The GCC rental firm has made their stance on health and safety standards clear as they were awarded the ISO 45001 2018 certification

The rental and hire firm, which employs a team of over 1,500 people and supplies a fleet of 14,000 items to the oil & gas, construction infrastructure, events, and industrial & manufacturing industries, has received recognition for its health and safety regulation adherence with the award.

The ISO 45001 2018 certification regulates requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system and includes guidance for its use, enabling certified businesses to provide safe and healthy workplaces.

Steve Caygill, UAE regional manager at Byrne, explained, "Byrne's recent completion of ISO 45001 2018 demonstrates the company's commitment to reducing risks in the workplace and creating safer working conditions for all.

"This certification is acknowledged worldwide which lends recognition to Byrne for having achieved an international benchmark. Furthermore, the completion of ISO 45001 2018 aligns with Byrne's mission of sustaining an organisation that is built around best practice. This, coupled with our other ISO certifications, continues to reinforce Byrne's committed and sustained drive towards best international practices."

Conforming to the most up-to-date OH&S standards exemplifies a company's commitment to improving employee safety and reducing workplace risks. ISO certification ensures organisations achieve and evaluate a high level of OH&S performance throughout its operations, and encourages workers to take an active role in OH&S matters.

Steve Caygill added, "Byrne's commitment towards these principles creates a ripple effect across the whole organisation and ensures health and safety is paramount for everyone in the team, setting the benchmark for managing risks and being consciously aware of our activity and actions.

"Having a strong, consistent standard means that the organisation is more efficient across the board and sets Bryne apart from others in the region- for the better."
