Abu Dhabi-based rescue and safety vehicles manufacturer Bristol VMD has been appointed as sole distributor of Germany’s Ambulanz Mobile in the GCC
Based on an agreement signed between the two companies, Bristol VMD can even customise Ambulanz vehicles according to the specifications provided by the Abu Dhabi Police and Dubai Ambulance.
Emergency vehicles can be customised at the 20,000 sqm plant that belongs to Bristol VMD in Abu Dhabi. Vehicles will locally assembled and fitted with medical equipment, according to client demands. To ensure high safety standards, stringent crash tests were carried at the Dekra accident research facilities as well.
“To be able to take a vehicle built by Ambulanz Mobile to the highest European safety standards and customise it according to the specifications of our local clients is an aspect of our service that we are proud of and that distinguishes us from our competitors,” said Mahmoud Awad, managing director of Concorde-Corodex Group, which owns Bristol VMD.
Officials from Bristol VMD are expecting strong sales as a result of this partnership. Overall, Bristol VMD is planning to expand its supply to international markets such as Africa and Central Asia this year.
