Right Health, one of the UAE’s leading healthcare organisations, has launched two new healthcare facilities, a clinic and a pharmacy, in Ajman’s Al Jurf area
The launch of the clinic aligns with Right Health’s commitment to making quality healthcare affordable and accessible to the UAE’s large blue-collar segment.
During the opening ceremony of the clinic and pharmacy, Anil Kumar from Right Health, said, “This clinic allows us to see a doctor and get medicines easily. We are happy to have these helpful services close to where we live and work.”
The addition of these facilities increases Right Health’s presence in the UAE. The new clinic caters to labourers housed at worker accommodations in the area and as well, residents of the Al Jurf area.
Dr Sanjay Paithankar, managing director at Right Health, added, “As part of our strategy to make this care accessible to the maximum numbers of the target group, we locate our clinics in densely populated areas such as Al Jurf that have a large concentration of worker accommodations. In addition, other residents and families in the area can also benefit from our quality medical services.”
Shainoor Khoja, chief impact officer at Right Health, commented, “As a previously underserved market, Right Health recognises the need to provide affordable quality health care and treatment to blue-collar workers who help make the UAE a prime destination for work and tourism.”
In line with Right Health’s recent partnership with Signify (formerly Philips Lighting), the clinic will be fitted out with healing LED lighting that helps alleviate a patient’s stress levels. The clinic houses a general practitioner, a dentist and a pharmacy and is equipped to provide laboratory and X-ray services.
Right Health has impacted around 450,000 patients and aims to touch one million lives by 2022 as it continues to expand its network of clinics, pharmacies, drug stores and laboratories across the UAE. It’s initiatives support the objective of the National Agenda of the UAE Vision 2021 to establish a world-class healthcare system in the UAE.
