DuPont Personal Protection will use this year’s A+A expo to showcase some of its top personal protective equipment (PPE)
Exhibiting in Hall 5, Stand A40 under the slogan of ‘Turning up the heat’, the company will use the health and safety trade show, to take place from 27-30 October in Düsseldorf, Germany, to highlight several key pieces of equipment, including its new Tychem ThermoPro chemical protection suit.
The garment combines DuPont’s chemical-resistant Tychem and flame-retardant Nomex material technologies in a single-layer solution, providing protection against chemicals, flash fire and electric arc.
The company said the Tychem ThermoPro is ideal for applications in the oil and gas industry, the chemicals industry, the fire fighting and emergency response services and any fields in which personnel may be exposed to combined chemical and flame hazards.
DuPont said it will also be using the show as a platform to release information about future developments in its chemical-resistant Tyvek, Tychem and ProShield brands, as well as about flame-resistant clothing made with Nomex and protective clothing made with DuPont Kevlar.
