Bosch unveils next-generation Avenar fire alarm panels in the Middle East

Bosch Avenar fire alarm panel 1Bosch has launched Avenar panel 2000 and 8000 series of fire alarm panels in the Middle East region

The new generation of fire alarm panels enhances building fire safety and supports the transformation of the Internet of Things (IoT)-driven building technologies.

The new Avenar panel 2000 and 8000 series is fully backwards compatible with current fire alarm system components and presents significant improvements in terms of scalability, integration and processing power. It offers security managers and building operators a new degree of safety, control and efficiency.

The Avenar panel 2000 replaces Bosch's Fire Panel 1200 Series as the big solution for smaller projects. Instead of the previous two, it supports up to four loops, thereby extending the applications from small projects to medium projects with up to 512 detectors and call points.

The Avenar 2000 panels can connect to a panel network which allows customers to distribute the fire system intelligence in the building while saving cabling costs.

In addition, the Avenar panel 2000 simplifies the system integrator planning and purchasing process, as it comes as a complete fire alarm panel kit, which can be expanded in a modular fashion.

The Avenar Panel 8000, the successor to the Modular Fire Panel 5000 Series, allows up to 32 loops and a total of up to 4096 detectors and call points per panel for larger installations.

Both panels support current fire detector generation based on Local Security Network (LSNi) connections, as well as call stations and other critical components of the system. Alongside existing network architectures such as Bosch's Modular Fire Panel 5000 Series, the new panels can be installed.

The possibility of building a common network around Avenar panel 2000 and 8000 as well as Avenar keypad 8000 and Modular Fire Panel 5000 Series improves the efficiency of the network and makes use of backward compatibility. It also minimises costs associated with extensions and retrofits.
