One of the Middle East’s leading security, fire and safety events will return to Saudi Arabia next year
It has been announced that the newly re-branded Saudi Safety & Security (SSS) Forum and Exhibition 2016 will be held at The Dhahran International Exhibitions Centre, in Dammam from 16-18 May 2016.
Organisers said that next year’s event, which attracted more than 2,200 industry experts and 70 exhibiting organisations in 2015, will focus more on industrial security, in line with the issue’s growing importance.
Ongoing conflicts in some of Saudi Arabia’s neighbours, such as Iraq and Yemen, have prompted the country to strengthen security measures at key industrial facilities, while cyber attacks directed against oil and gas companies operating in the region have made the issue of IT security an increasingly prominent one.
The security market in Saudi Arabia is therefore forecast to grow by 11.35 per cent by 2018, making the country one of the world’s fastest growing markets for security and safety solutions.
SSS is organised by London-based international events company BME Global Ltd.
