Oman has been announced as the host for the 2015 Middle East Health & Safety Conference
Event organisers Muscat Expo and Nispana said they hoped the conference - scheduled to take place 25-27 October in the Omani capital, Muscat – will help to foster growth in the regional HSE sector.
The event will focus on a number of key areas, including the latest technologies, methodologies, practices and key trends in reducing lost time, risk identification, HSE management systems, behavioural safety, fatigue management and fire safety.
Increasingly stringent health and safety regulations in the region, along with the need to effectively mitigate the risks posed by the use of ever-advancing technology, means that the issue of HSE has been becoming an increasingly prominent one in the Middle East.
A statement by the organisers said the event will be “a must attend for HSE professionals”, as well as government bodies, regulatory authorities, and companies operating in sectors such as oil and gas, transportation, construction, aviation, energy and manufacturing.
