uvex has announced the launch of new safety eyewear and safety gloves, which it will be showcasing at the Health and Safety Event in Birmingham, UK from 30 April-2 May
They include uvex pheos nxt safety glasses with clear lenses and with CBR23 lenses; uvex pheos nxt planet safety glasses with clear lenses; uvex phynomic B XG cut protection glove (cut level B) with excellent grip in oily conditions and touchscreen function; uvex phynomic C XG high cut protection glove (cut level C) with excellent grip in oily conditions and touchscreen function; uvex phynomic C XG ESD cut protective glove (cut level C) with ESD and touchscreen functions; and uvex profi pure HG waterproof safety glove with outstanding grip in wet conditions. The new uvex phynomic cut glove range is manufactured in Germany using 3D hand ‘formas’ to mimic the contours of the hand.
Showcasing new products
uvex will be showcasing its new products at the Health and Safety Event 30 April-2 May at the NEC in Birmingham and will also be running fit clinics for eyewear, footwear, gloves and hearing to ensure the right product is chosen, maximising protection. uvex has devised a seven-point safety eyewear fit guide which it will be demonstrating at the show, to help visitors identify the ideal spectacle or goggle. To support wearers of hearing protection, the team at uvex will be showcasing its latest innovation, the uvex xact-fit test system. The device verifies that hearing protection is fitted correctly for maximum protection and provides documented evidence of adequate protection. uvex will also be demonstrating its head to toe range of sustainable products, along with the uvex WEARABILITY concept, designed to increase compliance and wellbeing.
