Global height safety specialist, Guardian, unveiled new global and regional product introductions for vertical climbing systems at the A+A (AplusA) – International Trade Fair and Congress in Düsseldorf, Germany, taking place from 24-27 October
Cable Climbing System and C7 Cable Climbing Sleeve
Guardian’s patent-pending Cable Climbing System and C7 Cable Climbing Sleeve work together to offer unparalleled safety in motion. With 25% less installation hardware than the leading competitive system, due to a patent-pending integral mounting clamp, and a true one-handed sleeve operation, users can climb easier than ever before. The C7 Cable Climbing Sleeve was also specifically designed to mitigate nuisance lock-up on descent, allowing the user to smoothly and easily climb down after a long day at height.
The new Guardian Cable Climbing System and C7 Cable Climbing Sleeve will be available (3/8” / 10mm cable) in the US and other regions adapting ANSI standards in December 2023 and available (8mm / 5/16” cable) in Europe with EN certification in the Summer of 2024.
Brendan Walsh, chief marketing officer, stated, “We're excited to introduce our latest innovative solution to this global audience. This product line is a result of studying and understanding user needs and pushing the boundaries of engineering excellence. We paired up with the people that climb for a living to identify the most important performance requirements, and the designers brought them to reality. The results are another product that further defines our commitment to height safety.”
Safe-T Ladder Extension System
An already established industry-leading ladder safety solution in North America, Guardian has introduced the Safe-T Ladder Extension System into Europe. Designed to attach to the top of a ladder to provide a safe and easy transition from the ladder to a raised surface, the Guardian Safe-T Ladder Extension System requires no tools, drilling, or bolting to install, and is one of the most effective means of improving the safety of nearly any ladder. Once installed, it provides two offsetting handrails that offer a point of walkthrough to more simply step on or off the ladder.
Peter Styth, head of sales and service, EMEA & APAC, said, “Guardian continues to be the world leader for innovation in the Safety at Height fall protection arena with new product development at the core and it’s really exciting to present many of these safety solutions at A+A this year.”
Guardian welcomes all attendees to visit them at Hall 1, Stand C39 to check out these two climbing systems first-hand as well as to see how the company makes height safety simple through their unique 360-degree approach and commitment to innovative product and service solutions.
