Serco Middle East wins road safety award at Global Infrastructure Congress

Serco Middle East, a unit of British outsourcing company Serco Group Plc, said it has won a road safety award in the UAE

The company said it got an "Acknowledgment Award" for its road safety initiatives from Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, minister of infrastructure development, UAE at the Global Infrastructure Congress.

“The dangers of travelling on roads is ever present and we must all take responsibility for making the roads a safer place by driving safely, wearing seatbelts and following the road rules, whether you are a driver or a passenger, we must all behave in a safe manner,” Laura Kelly, assurance director for Serco Middle East said.

The award was presented to Serco Middle East’s CEO, David Greer.

Serco Middle East, in partnership with RoadSafetyUAE hosts an annual Road Safety Day every year for the local police and other companies to discuss road safety initiatives.
