Larson Electronics releases explosion proof LED light

Larson Electronics has announced the release of a 50-watt portable explosion proof LED light for use in industrial work areas and commercial settings

This light is rated for use in Class I, Divisions one and two hazardous locations and produces 70,000 lumens of light while drawing on only 50 watts.

The EPL-BS-70LED-50 explosion proof LED light is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups C and D; and Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G hazardous locations.

This light provides 4,500 sq feet of coverage for work areas and 70,000 lumens of bright light output. This unit is available in 360˚ and 180˚ beam spreads and is mounted to a handheld aluminium frame with an explosion proof on/off switch on the back of the frame.

This unit operates on 120-277V AC 50/60Hz with a T5 temperature rated LED light offering 60,000 hours of lamp life.

The explosion proof LED light head is mounted on top of a base stand made of non-sparking spun aluminium with a carrying handle built into the top of the stand. The aluminium frame has an explosion proof switch built into the cord wrap on the back of the unit.

This light comes with 50 feet of SOOW cord terminated in a 1523 explosion proof straight blade plug. This unit is suitable for hazardous industrial or work area settings.
