Improved safety for hoist users in dangerous places

Three hoist solutions have been launched by Konecranes for use in different types of hazardous work environments

The range includes industrial cranes, job cranes, and manual cranes, as well as electric and manual hoists with lifting capabilities up to 160 tons.

The EXCXT electric wire rope hoist is fitted with a mechanical configuration that prevents sparking. It also features speed control for added safety.

For tasks that take place in explosive atmospheres, the Konecranes EXN electric chain hoist has configuration flexibility for ergonomically sound work in a range of hazardous situations. When working in areas where there is no access to electricity, the manual hoists are suitable.

Additionally, the Konecranes EXATB AirBalancer is an alternative to hoists, using air pressure as the power source, with a variety of control systems for precise handling and full control of the load.
